Staggered starts and finishes

At Gledhow Primary School we have 5 gates to school allocated to different year groups. Due to the number of pupils on roll we run a staggered start and finish. Please see the table below for your child's start and finish time which may vary in the same year groups. 

If your child arrives at school after 8:55am they will need to enter through the Late Gate (Via the main school office) and then they will be taken to class. This late door operates until 9:20am when you child will be marked with an unauthorised absence. 

Some pupils may enter school via a siblings gate, if they have the same drop off time, where amember of staff will meet them and direct them to their classroom. Please note this is not available to all year groups. 

Assemblies 

Monday 
Key Stage 1 and Lower and Upper KS2 Celebration assmblies. Lower and Upper KS2 assemblies are at 9am-9:20am. KS1's assembly is from 2:30-2:50pm. Pupils are reward for their work, behaviour, attendance and academic achievement from the previous week. 

Tuesday and Thursday 
9am-9:20am Phase themed assemblies. 

Wednesday 
Phase singing assemblies

Friday

Early Years Celebration assmbly is from 2:30-2:50pm. Pupils are reward for their work, behaviour, attendance and academic achievement from the previous week. All other classes have class assemblies each week on 'Current Affairs'.
